| Auditions for the cheerleaders are held once a year. Eighteen dancers are chosen and become the Dunedin Casino Dance Squad. We dance at the Highlanders games at Carisbrook and at functions around Otago. |

| You don't need to prepare anything. We will teach you dance choreography on the day. Wear nice makeup, comfortable clothes, and shoes you can dance in. The team is chosen on dance ability and performance. Gymnastic ability is not required. |
